Hi there, I’m Anton

I am in Amsterdam.

Background Info

Hi There, my name is Anton, born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (1991) and raised in a small town close to it. In 2011 I moved back to Amsterdam and I am enjoying the city life ever since. Recently I’ve finished my Master in Corporate Communication at the University of Amsterdam.

To cover my expensive life as an (ex)student, I work as a freelancer. Mostly, I develop WordPress websites for various clients. If you can read Dutch, check out TheWebLab to see what I have to offer. I’m not only working for clients however, I like to work on some of my own projects as well. I love to think of creative concepts and bringing the right things together to create something awesome. Visit WeKnowSocial for an overview of the projects I’ve been working on.

Furthermore, I’m addicted to the internet and technology since my dial-up connection was replaced by ADSL (remember this sound?). Most people think of me as tech-savvy, as I like to stay up-to-date with the newest technology. Not a surprise that my favorite websites include iCulture, TheNextWeb and TechCrunch. One of my other passions is marketing and social media. I like to know all about creative marketing campaigns and the developing social media platforms we know today. Wondering if I have an offline life as well? Yes, I do. I love food. Either cooking at home or dining in one of Amsterdam’s hotspots (burgers are amongst my favorites!). I also like to hit the gym once in a while (who doesn’t right?) and I still have some country’s I want to visit on my bucket list.

Want to know more? Feel free to sent me a tweet or message me here. (I speak Dutch as well)
